The private sector lender HDFC Bank posted a 40.1 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 368.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.It was mainly due to strong growth in the net interest income.The total income of the bank grew by a robust 44% over the corresponding quarter last year and is at Rs 2845.1 crores.
