The Indian share markets lost about 169 points in yesterday’s trade mainly due to weak global and Asian markets. Sensex closed the day at 15,587 points and nifty lost 51 points to close at 4,709 points. The Asian markets were also down by 1-1.5% in yesterdays trade. The gainers of the day included Bharti Airtel, BHEL, HDFC, SBI and ICICI.

The markets are waiting for the 4th quarter results and that can be a big trigger in the coming days. The Asian markets are trading marginally up with Nikkei gaining 41 points in the morning trade.The markets will trade subdued even today if there is no negative news comes and world markets stabilize. The US markets  had ended in red  yesterday with Dow losing 36 points and Nasdaq 16 points.
