So time for another inflation update. The latest figure shows that the inflation has touched 8.75% for the week ending May 31st,2007.It was measured at 8.24% last time. The inflation was expected to be around 8.28% for this session.This figures are the highest in the UPA govt.The last time it was 8.74% for the week ending Aug 28.2004.

This is almost 88 month high figures.On 10th Feb,2001 it was 8.77% as per historic data.Well after the oil price hike of June 5th,we can expect this figures to go up further when Jun 20th,2008 data comes in.The markets are also trading flat today.Asian markets also look in a similar today. Lets see where does the market head from here on.
