Last week we saw a lot volatile share market. In the end it was a rather bearish trend than anything else. Spiraling crude oil prices, inflation figures, bad global cues all played its role. Over the week, both Sensex and Nifty lost close to 2.5% each as against its previous week’s close.

The inflation figures of 8.75% also had a bad affect on the markets as a whole which is further likely to increase from here. The sensex hit a intra week low of 14,645 and recovered almost 500 points from there. The worst losers were realty stocks which lost close to 9% followed by IT stocks which whose index was down 5%. The only sector looking good currently is Pharmaceuticals.

Some intra day calls for today:Chambal Fertilizers(cmp 91),I-Flex(cmp 1321),GHCL(cmp 72),Ranbaxy(cmp 567),Pfizer(cmp 620),Gujurat NRE coke(cmp 140),KPIT Cummins(cmp 74),Bartronics(cmp 206),Welspun Gujurat(cmp 340),Tata chemicals(cmp 366),Glenmark(cmp 708),Punj Lloyd(cmp 267),Nagarjuna Fertiolizers(cmp 47),Chambal Fertilizers(cmp 91).
