The Union Govt as gone ahead with its PSU Pay revision which will impact about 5 million union govt employees. It will cover about 250,000 employees. This revised PSU Pay Revision will come into effect from Jan 1st 2007. Thew PSU Pay hike has brought smiles into the faces of many govt employees who will get benefited from this.

The govt today got the clearance from election commission(EC) and then the PSU pay revision news went public. The budget for this will be handled by the respective Central public sector enterprise(CPSEs). This PSU pay revision will include housing rent allowance and also retirement benefits. The structure of the psu pay revision would vary from company to company as said by Home Minister P Chidambaram.
