Very soon the state govt employees of Madhya Pradesh (MP) will start enjoying the benefits of the sixth pay commission. The MP chief minister Mr.Shivraj Singh Chouhan  has finally declared that the MP state govt employees will get the due benefits of the 6th pay commission very soon.

The chief minister of MP has said that the benefits of the sixth pay commission scales will be effective from Jan 1, 2006. They have said that the benefits since Sept 1st 2008 to Feb 2009 will be paid in  April 2009 salary itself and the benefits due to sixth pay commission scales from Jan 1st 2006 to Aug 31st 2008 will be given on a later date.

The state pay commission for MP has already submitted its recommendations to the state govt in line with the sixth pay commission which was announced last year on Aug 15th 2008. This decision on the sixth pay commission scales will benefit almost 5 lakh govt employees and MP govt pensioners. The state govt employees can expect about 30% hike in their salaries after the implementation of sixth pay commission scales.

In the latest developments, the sixth pay commission panel will submit its revised updates by June 30,2009. After this the 6th pay commission scales will be implemented in full scale. The re-fixation of pension of MP state govt pensioners will be done so that even they get the benefits of the implementation on the sixth pay commission in MP.
