Some Highlights of TCS Q4 Results 2010 :-
*The net revenues of the company for FY2010 stands at a massive Rs 30,029 crores up by 8%(y-o-y).
*Net profits in FY2010 stands at Rs 7,001 crores which is up by 33%(y-o-y).
*Net profits in Q4 stands at Rs 2,001 crores up by 50.1%(y-o-y) and 9.7%(q-o-q).
Vice President and Head of Global Human Resource Mr. Ajoy Mukherjee has come out with the TCS salary hike news. On the back of the extremely strong results, TCS has decided to award all its employees a debatable 10% average hike across its offshore Indian locations and 2-4% for Major markets and about 2-10% in Emerging Markets.Mr.Ajoy Mukherjee has reiterated that salary hike depends mostly on the individual performances and then the performance of the company.
On the variable pay front TCS has announced 125% of variable payout for Q4 2010 less than the 150% variable it has given in the last 2 quarters. Including promotions the salary hike of TCS comes to 13%. For all those who are promoted in the last promotion cycle, the revision in Variable pay will come into effect after the completion of 1 year in the new higher grade.

3The salary hike details are partially updated here. TCS will give an average of 10% hike to its offshore employees and 125% variable pay. Keep posting your views.

4Companies will gain profits by switching of AC, cutting benefits for employees..etc etc etc but for employees they won’t give salary hikes.
